Welcome to Modesto! We are one of the largest plants in the Del Monte network producing several canned and packaged fruit products. We are located about 2 hours from our Walnut Creek headquarters, and most visitors fly into the Sacramento airport, about 87 miles away. The weather is mostly dry and hot. When visiting the plant, please check in at the security gate, wear closed-toed boot like shoes, check in at the front desk to pick up your PPE (personal protection equipment)- glasses, helmet, and earplugs.
We are in the heart of Central Valley so if you can extend your stay, you can visit Sacramento, explore gold country, visit Gallo winery, or check out one of the many parks in the Sierras like Yosemite.
